Educational Technology Certifications

Education Service Center (ESC) Region 11 Educational Technology department offers a variety of online courses to meet the classroom teacher's needs. Our courses address K-12 Technology Applications certification, Master Technology Teacher certification, and online teaching. All of our programs are aligned to the standards for that specific certification.

We offer courses that investigate and implement the International Association for K-12 Online Learning online teaching and development standards into the online learning environment to support current and future educators and district online teaching and learning implementation plans.

All of the courses and/or programs listed here offer some form of certification. The certifications range from a State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) teaching certification to a Texas Virtual School Network document of completion.

Before completing the Master Tech Application, follow the steps below to create an account:

1. In the Login box in the left column, click: Create New Account
2. Enter your information in all the fields and click: Create my new account
   (Watch for a confirmation email -- may be blocked by email spam filter.)
   If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, contact Karin Horn.
3. Log into the EdTech Certifications site.
4. Click on the MTTC Application.
5. Click the "Add Entry" tab and complete the required fields on the application.
